Hmmm... what to post for my first "BlogSpot" blog.....
I moved over to blogspot simply for the format change. I was getting bored at live journal, and like the way these work better.
So tonight is Halloween... my favorite holiday EVER! I am so excited! This year we have set up a 'haunt' at Darius's house. The theme is victorianesque with vampires (Justin and I), Gravekeeper (Darius), Gravekeeper's wife (Monica), goulish humpback (Donovan) and living angel statue (AJ). We also boarded up the house, put spiderwebs and cobwebs everywhere, created a graveyard, put a giant scary ghost on the roof and put a scary Jack-o-Lanturn man right in the front. Tonight we will get some good pictures!
I have to say though - my costume has impressed me the MOST out of all the others. It isnt as complicated as what Monica made, but it is my first attempt at making any peice of wearable clothing. Sure - an epxerienced seamstress could have done way better - but I am NOT that person. :-) It turned out exactly as I envisioned it, which in itself is a TOTAL miracle.
